 About Animal Care Training
The Animal Care Training (ACT) program (www.animalcaretraining.org) is an online training site for beef, dairy, equine, transportation, livestock marketers and a center for online continuing education for the American Association of Bovine Practitioners (AABP).

Web-based audiovisual training modules in English and Spanish feature topics such as animal husbandry, animal welfare, environmental stewardship and food safety practices. The site is currently home to over 100 online training modules and 200 continuing education modules for veterinarians. The ACT website has been named the national training center for beef and dairy producers by the National Cattlemen’s Beef Association.

Steps to certify:
  1. Register
  2. Purchase a training package
  3. Watch the presentation and complete the quiz for each module in the training package
  4. Print certificate for your records
