Objective measurements may be useful in determining cattle at risk of BRD. Newly received beef heifers were assigned to treatments based on haptoglobin concentrations. In the finishing phase, heifers were assigned to treatments based on number times treated for BRD. Performance and average net returns for haptoglobin risk groups and number of BRD treatments will be discussed. 2 CE credits
